The mission of Beauty by Fire Ministries in Service is to worship the LORD our God by serving Him faithfully with all our hearts being continually mindful of all He has done for us.(1 Samuel 12:24) It is our desire to minister to one another through the spiritual gifts that have been entrusted to us (1 Peter 4:10) believing that “the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all” (1 Corinthians 12:7).We will walk in absolute obedience to love the LORD with all our heart, soul, and strength (Deuteronomy 6:5) and through love we will serve one another (Galatians 5:13).We trust that if we are willing vessels prepared for every good work (2 Timothy 2:21) that He who calls us to an area of ministering is faithful, and it is He who will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:24). We commit to follow Jesus to be about our Father’s business (Luke 2:49) as we too are eaten up with zeal for the house of our Lord (John 2:17) knowing fully that our sufficiency is from Him (2 Corinthians 3:5.
It is our desire that this Christ-centered small group will give women the opportunity to walk alongside other like-minded women through one of the most difficult life challenges – the loss of a husband. We will surround one another with love, comfort, prayer, encouragement, and biblical directive to victoriously walk in the hope, strength, and joy of the LORD. As we experience God’s lovingkindness and grow in our faith, we will purpose to be a direct reflection of God’s glory as we serve others in their times of need for Jesus’ sake. Learn more
Every one of us has either personally been through, or knows someone close to them, who has faced tragedy such as the loss of a spouse or child, long-term illness, or a devastating divorce. When chaos is knocking on the door of our hearts, Jesus desires that we have peace in the midst of our trials and sorrows (John 16:33). The primary purpose of the Prayer Walk is to spiritually unite our community through prayer under the Lord our Banner, in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to seek His favor, His protection, and the restoration of His people and His land. We will fortify our community as we pray over our cities, government leaders, schools and teachers, uniformed heroes and servants, pastors and ministry leaders, businesses and all of the people that make up the River Region.
